short-eared owl

White dreams

Winter was very much present in 2012-2013 and photographers like(d) it.

Due to PhD deadlines I spent very very little time behind the camera. Some time ago I took one break to photograph some winterish wildlife at the coast.

The Zwin (Knokke-Heist) was very cold

And so were its shore larks

Hungry fieldfare

Nice tushy

Curlews having trouble finding worms

Short-eared owls in winter landscape
